For a small and well-established company, we are looking for an experienced mechanical technician/engineer with a clear operational and development focus who, in close collaboration with the development team, project manager and chief designer, can handle product development as well as maturation and adaptation of the existing product range.
The department consists of eight experienced employees who will both produce and install "all-in-one solutions" for lifting and transporting goods and personnel - both for the private and public markets.
You need to take responsibility for:
- Development on existing and new projects as well as design and development on special orders
- Calculation and optimization
- Dialogue with customers in the development phase - including design and construction
- Preparation of documentation, manuals, drawings, risk assessment and CE marking.
- Building and maintaining quality control systems
- Telephone support and advice on maintenance, etc.
Your background can be:
- Mechanical technician or mechanical engineer
- Extensive experience in production and machine manufacturing
- Experience with construction drawing in AUTOCAD or equivalent
- Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting is an advantage
